Located in the heart of purple Périgord, very close to BERGERAC, in a quiet hamlet, in the middle of the hills and forests of the Dordogne valley, let yourself be seduced by the lodging of Estate of La Crabouille.
This charming house is completely independent, with its own entrance and terrace from which you can admire the orchard and the view over the rest of the estate.
The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the dining room and living room, from which you access the 2 bedrooms and the bathroom.
In the living room there is a comfortable sofa which can optionally be converted into an extra bed for a fifth person.
You can light a fire in the wood stove which will immediately warm up your cool summer or winter evenings, giving this cottage a soft and cozy atmosphere.
The first bedroom has two 90 x 200 single beds which can be put together to form one double bed of 180 x 200. From this bedroom you have a view of the south side of the estate.
The second bedroom has a 160 x 200 double bed and the room always stays cool, even in the height of summer, as it faces the north side.
There is also the possibility of providing you with a cot (120x60).
Beautiful walks in the countryside or hikings on horse's back will be possible in the Domaine with Catherine as your guide.
Other activities such as tennis, golf or canoeing can be found nearby.
The region has a lot to offer to walkers, cyclists, tourists and wine lovers, with its castles, picturesque medieval villages and gardens to visit.
Many gourmet restaurants and shops offer you a wide range of local products and regional wines. The closest restaurants are in Campsegret, St-Sauveur or Queyssac (2.5km to 5km).
Among the various lakes located nearby, some, such as Lac de Pombonne, offer the possibility of swimming.
During the summer evenings, concerts of jazz or classical music take place in different parts of the city Bergerac.
The Lascaux caves as well as the village of Les Eyzies, with its prehistoric caves and rock paintings, are an hour's drive along the Dordogne region, passing by castles and villages perched atop vertiginous cliffs, orchards and nut farms.
Bergerac Airport is 15 minutes away and provides flights from many UK cities. Bordeaux international airport is an hour and a half away by car.
A regional railway line serves the towns of Sarlat, Bergerac and Bordeaux. Finally, many car parks designed for carpooling offer the possibility of cheaper travel.
